Enchanted Forest - It's the summer, I'm on the deck, palette knife and oil paints in hand, ready to capture the light in the forest and the lush green foliage that surrounds me.
Therese Legere is inspired by the enchanting Napa Valley in California. Seeing through the artists eye; she is documenting the colors, textures and light of the vineyards and mountains in her oil paintings. Her painting technique is initially Impressionist followed by drawing out certain contours. This process creates a stained glass effect that enhances the colors and light. Therese Legere's personal journey as an artist began in her childhood. Born in Montreal, Quebec; she grew up in the Richelieu Valley, fertile with famous Quebecois artists.
